WEDNESDAY, July 18, 2012 1-800-ASK Gary Amphitheatre
Dave Matthews Band returns to the road this summer with a stop at 1 800 Ask Gary Amphitheatre in Tampa on Wednesday, July 18th. The group – which ranked as the biggest ticket seller worldwide of the past decade – took last year off from touring, so this will be its first outing since 2010.
Dave Matthews Band recently went into the studio with Steve Lillywhite – who produced the band's first three studio albums, Under The Table And Dreaming, Crash and Before These Crowded Streets – to begin work on its forthcoming album, which will be released this year. Details on how to order the album will be announced soon. It will be the follow-up to the Platinum-certified Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King (RCA), which debuted at No. 1 on The Billboard 200 in 2009, making Dave Matthews Band one of only two groups in chart history to have five consecutive studio albums enter atop the chart. Dave Matthews Band – comprising Carter Beauford (drums), Stefan Lessard (bass), Dave Matthews (vocals, guitar) and Boyd Tinsley (violin) – has sold over 17 million tickets since its inception and a collective 37 million CDs and DVDs combined.
Winners will receive a pair of tickets to see Dave Matthews Band at the 1-800-ASK Gary Amphitheatre on July 18th
